Akwa Ibom State Second Scholarship Award for Nigerian Students For 2013/2014 Academic Session Has Commence

Latest Information reaching us today is that the Ibeno Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State 2nd Scholarship Award has commence.
This is to inform the general public that the full Akwa Ibom State 2nd Scholarship Award has commence.
This scholarship applies to all students, parents and guardians of Ibeno Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State that the Ibeno Education Endowment Foundation (IEEF) has just concluded her arrangement to carry out a second Scholarship award exercise for students of Ibeno origin for the 2011/2012 and 2012/2013 academic session.
According to Information we recieved directly, the maiden scholarship award of the foundation was for the 2010/2011 session.
This is to inform all desiring students of Ibeno Origin in Akwa Ibom State who have gained admission into Universities, Polytechnics, College of Education, Schools of Nursing, and other recognized institution of Higher Learning in Nigeria and Abroad.
During the 2011/2012 or 2012/2013 session, you can pick up the (IEEF) scholarship application form, complete same and return.
But you’ve to return it together with necessary attachments, for the Foundations action.
How To Apply For The Scholarship
Candidates who wishes to apply for the 2013 Akwa Ibom State Scholarship for Nigerians should follow the guidelines below.
The Application forms can be obtain from the address listed below.
1. The secretary, Ibeno Education Endowment Foundation, C/O Office of the Executive Chairman, Ibeno L.GA, Akwa Ibom State.
2. Professor. E. T. Eshett, Chairman, Ibeno Education Endowment Foundation, C/O Department of Soil Science and Technology,
Federal University of Technology, Owerri imo State.
Candidates who applied for the scholarship should make sure that the Completed application forms should be enclosed in a A4 size envelope, along with two recent passport photographs of the applicant.
Also, with photocopies of the following documents mentioned below:
1. Letter of admission from the Registrar of JAMB or Registrar of candidate’s institution.
2. Letter of confirmation of the applicants Village from the Village Head or Village Council Chairman.
3. Certificate of Origin of the candidate, Which MUST be issued from the office of the Executive Chairman of Ibeno Local Government Area.
3. WAEC/SSCE certificate or its equivalent.
4. Current Institution identification card issued to the applicant, where available.
5. Evidence of the current Level of study of the candidate issued by the registrar of the candidates academic institution.
6. Evidence of payment of school fees for the 2011/2012 or 2012/2013 academic session, just as the case may be.
Important Notice!
This is to inform candidates who were awarded scholarships during the 2010/2011 academic year and continued their courses of study during the 2011/2012. session or have completed their programmes in that academic year need not make fresh application but will be required to show evidence of their studentship in the 2011/2012 session to sustain the award.
Likewise, the Scholarship foundation will thereafter invite the shortlisted candidates for screening interview on a future date.
