UNIVERSITY OF LAGOS- UNILAG BEGINS CONSTRUCTION OF 3 NEW STUDENT HOSTELS!!

The immediate past Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of the University of Lagos(UNILAG), Deacon (Dr) Gamaliel Onosode OFR has laid the foundation stone of three blocks of buildings earmarked to serve as hostelaccommodation for both undergraduate and graduate students of the University.
Deacon Onosode performed the turning of the sod of the project on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Lawani quarters, Abule-Oja, Yaba. The project includes a two 3-storey building for female undergraduate and one 3-storey building for postgraduate students
He was accompanied by all members of the University Governing Council including the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Rahamon A. Bello, FAEng; Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic & Research); Professor Babajide Alo, FAS; Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Management Services), Professor Duro Oni; Registrar, Oluwarotimi O.A. Shodimu, Esq.; Bursar, Mr Lateef Odekunle, Acting Librarian, Dr Okanlawon Adediji, internal and external members of Governing Council, among others.
The project is an initiative of the Build, Operate and Transfer (BOT) system which will be undertaken by the Nosila Nigeria Limited and to be completed within two years.
